Yesterday I posted about Thunder on the Right book covers, and today my latest Mary Stewart quiz is on the same novel. It is spoiler-free. Can you pass the test?
Please let me know if you encounter any problems with the quizzes. As far as I am aware they work – so if you spot anything wrong, please get in touch.
9/10… not too shabby!

Impressive – congratulations! Now of course I am wondering which question tripped you up…

The description about the green skirt – I thought it was Gillian but it was about Jennifer! A very sneaky question because ToR is the only novel where a description like that could be of the heroine, as it’s the only one in the 3rd person!

I hadn’t thought about how that makes it a bit of a trick(y) question! I just love including description of the characters – MS keeps those descriptions to a minimum so I like to find them and draw attention to them

Have I missed something somewhere? Was thunder on the Right originally a serial entitled The Small Blue Flower?

Hello, I am picking up the comments and questions left on my old blog – finally. Thunder on the Right was serialised as ‘The Small Blue Flower’ in Woman magazine in 1957. You can see some info and an illustration in these two blog posts: https://marystewartreading.wordpress.com/2017/08/16/book-art-thunder-on-the-right/ and
